What’s up. I’m Richard Boadu. Hmm…about me…where do I start? Umm… I’m a Waffle House connoisseur. I love my friends’ birthdays more than they do. I’m also in an emotionally unstable relationship with OU Football and the OKC Thunder.

I got into advertising because a creative came to my class dressed like he was going to the beach and said he dressed like that at work. I was sold. I hate suits and business casual. And I’ve always been obsessed with cool ads and stories — not to mention the odds of being a copywriter were much higher than those of being a TV/Film writer. 

10+ years experience creating brand messages and strategy that comes to life in the form of television commercials, print ads, activations, billboards, guerilla, social media, retail, paid media and digital campaigns.

Capable of writing in different tones and voices for specific campaigns, brands and assignments. 

Experienced in concepting and writing for multiple cultures and audiences — general market, Black, Hispanic, Millennial, Gen Z and more. 

Ability to develop TV scripts, experiential brand activations, and 360 brand campaigns.
